The nearby hill areas of Thodupuzha have shown face in the budget. The new budget shows gratitude and relief to the farmers of these places. The budget includes 122 crore rupees for the development of the Cardamom cultivation in Idukki for the next 4 years through the Spices Board. As a result, 10 crore rupees will be spent in this year.Spices Board, established in 1987, got the highest incrementation through this budget, says Spices Board Chariman V.J Kurian.The re-cultivation of cardamom will be given the high priority this year.
