Due to the increase in the flow of foreigners to Idukki district, many companies were put forwarded a suggestion for bringing domestic airports in these places. As per the calculations, around four lacks tourists are visiting Idukki every year.
because of the pathetic situvation of our road and the distance between famous tourist destinations urged them to take such a move.

India, the wealth of young generation will grab the development leadership by next century, says Infosys Managing Director, Mr. Kris Gopalakrishnan. He has called for the talks about the interpretation and explanation on new opportunities in India for the young Generation, at Newman College. Also says,The treasure for opportunities is opening for the biggest market in India. These opportunities should not be misleaded by the young generations of India.
He concluded by saying, “Infosys tells about the success of confidence and self-reliance.” College Principal, Fr.Paul Nedumpurathu, Prof.P.C James, Prof. K.A Benny also spoke on the event.
